It appears to be working this end. Not to worry, it's not really ground breaking stuff. :-D I'll have to check out Yes Man...that one passed us by. Those henna tattoos are just beautiful. I think they must have started to think I had a hand fetish as I kept insisting on photographing their extremities! The foot's fine now thanks and the wine safely stashed (I'll be struck down by a thunderbolt!) xxxWinter Peach Photographyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12697165006032748667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1782306434061765914.post-60169719015559792282022-03-16T12:43:08.820-07:002022-03-16T12:43:08.820-07:00Thank you Ann. I hope you got a glimpse of the outfits too! I confess the wine made it back home. We looked up one of the labels, with fairly low expectations and were amazed to find that the cheapest of that variety retails at around £20 so we're in for a treat! Heaven knows how it ended up where it did. We never see a soul there! xxxWinter Peach Photographyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12697165006032748667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1782306434061765914.post-44134579489481937552022-03-16T12:39:26.440-07:002022-03-16T12:39:26.440-07:00I'm trying to remember exactly which stretch o...I'm trying to remember exactly which stretch of road we were on when I took the tree photo. It does look quite like Kingswinford's famous tree - well spotted! I needed an escort to the car, laden with camera equipment and what looked like the weekly shop! Very hospitable people. The foot has healed thanks. It was my own fault - wearing new boots on a walk before I had properly tested them out. I'll report back on the wine! ;-) xxxWinter Peach Photographyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12697165006032748667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1782306434061765914.post-23987940587138914912022-03-16T12:36:30.050-07:002022-03-16T12:36:30.050-07:00Thanks Beate. Shall we collectively claim ownership of it as a new photography genre? :-D I see what you mean about the puddle photo. The henna tattoos were so imaginative...down to the toes! Yes, we took the wine. Can't yet vouch for its taste. xxx Winter Peach Photographyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12697165006032748667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1782306434061765914.post-25331796779027809312022-03-15T12:37:09.681-07:002022-03-15T12:37:09.681-07:00Hello Claire, alas I can't seem to view the vi...Hello Claire, alas I can't seem to view the video but I am hoping you managed to stash the wine in your secret underground cellar??? I love your windscreen photography. The multi-skilling reminds me of the running photography early morning club in the film 'Yes Man' - but with MUCH better results ;) Bravo for your phone-a-friend mentor saving the technology. Sounds like you had a fabulous time... and how delicious that food looks! Your previous Lyela henna hands picture is truly exquisite. I sometimes indulge in a spot of windscreen photography too, although the results aren't as spectacular as yours.
Hope your foot injury gets better soon.
I'm glad to hear the technical issues were resolved and your Islamic wedding photo shoot went smoothly. Speaking of ululations, we have witnessed some of those on Saturday as there was a Moroccan wedding party a few houses down.
Atmospheric photos of your walk to Mere Mill too - and I love the video. Please do tell what happened to the wine! xxxPolyester Princesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05602613792584925087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1782306434061765914.post-71035272524520119202022-03-14T09:21:11.519-07:002022-03-14T09:21:11.519-07:00Wonderful photos, Claire - is that the tree you po...Wonderful photos, Claire - is that the tree you pointed out on our walk last summer?
I bet that wedding was fantastic, the mehendi is beautiful. It must have been tricky having to avoid photographing the elders but how lovely to have a goodie bag to take home.
The video is fab - I'd love to know why that wine ended up there and what it tasted like! xxx
PS Hope the foot injury heals quickly.Vixhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05263970600699632661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1782306434061765914.post-78506442193244051762022-03-14T01:06:43.896-07:002022-03-14T01:06:43.896-07:00magical sunset photos!!
